Veteran Actor Kiran Kumar Tests Negative For COVID-19 In New Test; Continues To Be In Quarantine
It was on May 14 when veteran actor Kiran Kumar tested positive for COVID-19. The actor remained asymptomatic after his detection but was in quarantine in one of the floors in his bungalow. Now, after two weeks of being tested positive for the deadly virus and being in self-isolation at home, Kumar tests negative for the Novel Coronavirus in the new test. Even though after testing negative for the virus after a period of two weeks, the actor continues to remain in self-isolation at his home.

According to a report in the Times of India, in an official statement, Kiran Kumar revealed that he has been retested for COVID-19 and is happy to share that he has tested negative. The actor said, “Today after being retested for Covid19, I am happy to say that I have tested negative.” Kumar then shared that his family is still in following strict home isolation and mentioned how he was totally asymptomatic. The actor shared that apart from the boredom that accompanies in self- isolation, he had no other complaints.

Kiran Kumar tested positive for COVID-19 on May 14, 2020 after he had visited the hospital for a routine check-up with his daughter. Speaking with PTI, the 74-year-old actor revealed that he had visited a hospital for a routine medical check-up on May 14, where he took the COVID-19 test as it was mandatory. He then went on to mention that he tested positive for the deadly virus. Kumar was in quarantine in one of the floors in his Bungalow, while his family was in isolation on the others.


Meanwhile, in his official statement, Kumar thanked the amazing doctors at Hinduja Khar and Lilavati that has made sure his family was armed up enough with information to ensure panic would not set in. He also mentioned that his family and he informed the BMC of their status and mentioned that they amped up everyone's vitamin intake.
